a modern, inclusive practice focused on you and your recovery

Hi, I’m Daniella

My therapeutic style is grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and change, and I work collaboratively with my clients to help them tap into their own innate wisdom and resources. My clinical approach is rooted in safety, trustworthiness, and warmth. I am deeply committed to providing my clients with a safe space to explore their emotions and experiences without judgment.

Eating Disorder Treatment: I take a holistic approach to eating disorder treatment and prefer to work alongside a dietician, psychiatrist, and medical doctor to ensure you are receiving the best care possible. It is a requirement of my practice that you are working alongside a dietician when we begin our therapeutic relationship. I can provide referrals to support you in building your recovery team.

I typically meet with clients who come in with eating challenges twice a week to start off in order to assess if this is an appropriate level of care. If after the first session, we decide we don't need semiweekly sessions, we will move forward with sessions once a week. Anything with eating challenges requires a lot of work, and meeting semiweekly can support in evaluating what treatment can look like. I offer a reduced rate for semiweekly sessions.

Couples Therapy

  • In couples therapy, the focus is on supporting you and your partner in navigating and resolving the issues within the relationship. Couples therapy is not individual therapy with two people - rather, you and your partner are treated as a unit. In couples therapy, you will identify patterns of communication, explore emotional dynamics, and address areas of conflict or dissatisfaction.

As your therapist, my role is to guide you in developing effective communication skills and empathy for one another. Through this collaborative process, the ultimate goal is for you and your partner to gain insight into your relationship and work together to implement long-lasting change.

Family Therapy

  • The focus of family therapy is to promote a sense of understanding, support, and cooperation among the family unit. Family therapy can be a good option for families facing various challenges (for example, a child developing a mental health disorder, a loved one battling an addiction, major life changes, etc.).

Through the therapeutic process, families can strengthen their bonds, learn adaptive ways of communicating and relating, and disrupt negative cycles.
